How We Verify Jobs

Every listing on Synckra is traceable to an official company career page. Here's exactly how we ensure that.

Why Verification Matters

The internet is full of job listings that look real but are not. Some are expired postings recycled to generate traffic. Others are fabricated roles used to collect resumes for data-harvesting operations. A significant number are posted by unauthorized third parties who have no connection to the hiring company.

Synckra exists specifically to eliminate this problem. We do not accept job submissions from external recruiters, staffing agencies, or anonymous users. Every listing in our database is sourced programmatically from an official company career page or Application Tracking System.

This means when you see a job on Synckra, you can trace it back to the company that posted it. When you click Apply, you land on that company's own application portal — not a form controlled by an intermediary.

The Verification Pipeline

Our verification is not a one-time check. It's a continuous pipeline that runs at every stage of a listing's lifecycle.

1
Source CurationWe manually identify and vet official career page URLs for each company before adding them to our tracking list. We verify domain ownership, SSL certificates, and page structure to confirm authenticity.
2
Automated ExtractionOur scraper engine extracts listing data directly from these verified sources. We never scrape third-party job boards or aggregator sites — only first-party career pages.
3
URL Integrity CheckEvery apply URL is validated against the source domain. If the application link points somewhere other than the company's official domain, the listing is flagged and excluded.
4
AI-Powered StructuringRaw listing data passes through AI models that extract structured fields: title, location, salary, eligibility, skills. The AI also detects inconsistencies or anomalies in the data.
5
Duplicate DetectionThe same role posted across multiple ATS platforms is detected using URL normalization and title-company matching. Only one canonical listing is published.
6
Continuous MonitoringPublished listings are re-checked periodically. If a company removes the original posting, the Synckra listing is transitioned to expired status with a clear notice for users.

What We Reject

🚫
Synckra will never publish:
  • Jobs submitted by third-party recruiters or staffing agencies.
  • Listings from unverified sources or anonymous job boards.
  • Roles where the apply URL redirects through an intermediary rather than the company's own portal.
  • Positions that cannot be traced to a real company career page.
  • Sponsored or paid placement listings disguised as organic results.

If you encounter a listing that appears suspicious or links to a broken page, please report it. We take every report seriously and investigate promptly.

Limitations We Acknowledge

No verification system is perfect. Here are the limitations we're transparent about:

  • Timing gaps — A company may close a position between our scan cycles. During that window, the listing may still appear active on Synckra.
  • Data accuracy — While AI extraction is highly accurate, edge cases exist where salary, location, or eligibility details may be imprecise. We always recommend verifying details on the company's official page.
  • Coverage gaps — We do not yet track every company in existence. Our source list grows continuously, but newer or smaller companies may not be indexed yet.

We address these limitations by making expired job handling transparent, encouraging community reports, and continuously improving our automation. Read more about our approach in the Editorial Policy and How Synckra Works guide.

Common Questions

Can recruiters post jobs on Synckra?
No. Synckra does not accept external job submissions. Every listing is sourced directly from a company's official career page.
How do I report a suspicious listing?
Visit the Contact page and select "Report Incorrect Information" or "Report Broken Jobs." Include the job URL and we'll investigate immediately.
Why does a job show as expired when the company page still has it?
This can happen when a company updates their career page structure. Our next scan cycle will detect the change and re-activate the listing if the role is still open.
