Editorial Policy

The principles and standards that govern how Synckra curates, publishes, and maintains every piece of information on the platform.

Our Core Editorial Principles

Synckra operates under a set of editorial principles designed to protect the interests of job seekers. These principles apply to every listing, every resource article, and every piece of information published on the platform.

🎯Accuracy FirstEvery data point — job title, company name, location, salary, eligibility — must be traceable to the original source.
🤝User Interest Above AllEditorial decisions are made in the interest of job seekers, not advertisers, recruiters, or partner companies.
🔍TransparencyWhen we cannot verify something, we say so. When our data has limitations, we acknowledge them openly.
🚫No Pay-for-PlacementNo company can pay to have their listing ranked higher, featured more prominently, or displayed preferentially.
🔄Continuous ImprovementOur editorial processes evolve based on user feedback, technological improvements, and emerging best practices.
🌍InclusivityWe do not filter or exclude listings based on any criteria other than relevance to our platform's scope.

Where Our Data Comes From

Synckra's data sources are deliberately narrow to maintain quality. We only source from:

  • Official company career pages — Hosted on the company's primary domain (e.g., careers.google.com, jobs.microsoft.com).
  • Application Tracking Systems (ATS) — Platforms like Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, and Taleo that companies use to manage hiring, accessed through their public-facing career portals.
  • Official government portals — For public sector opportunities and campus recruitment drives, when available.

We explicitly do not source from:

  • Third-party job aggregators or scraping other job boards.
  • Social media posts, WhatsApp groups, or Telegram channels.
  • Emails, direct messages, or unsolicited submissions from recruiters.
  • Company press releases or news articles about hiring plans.

For more technical detail about our sourcing and verification process, see How We Verify Jobs.

How Listings Are Processed

When a raw listing is discovered, it goes through a structured processing pipeline before publication:

Processing Pipeline:
  • Extraction — Key fields (title, company, location, salary, eligibility, skills) are extracted from the source page.
  • Normalization — Inconsistent formatting is standardized. Company names are matched to canonical forms. Locations are geocoded when possible.
  • Enrichment — AI models analyze the listing to generate structured tags, batch indicators (e.g., 2024/2025 batch), and type classification (internship vs. full-time).
  • Deduplication — The listing is checked against existing entries to prevent duplicates.
  • Publishing — The structured listing is published with the original apply URL intact.

At no point in this pipeline is the apply URL modified, proxied, or replaced. Candidates always land on the company's official application page. Read more about the full technical architecture in How Synckra Works.

Resource Article Standards

The articles published in the Resources section follow these content standards:

  • No marketing language — Articles are written to educate, not to sell. We avoid superlatives, hype, and unsupported claims.
  • Evergreen focus — Content is written to remain useful over time. We avoid time-sensitive references, launch-specific language, and trend-chasing topics.
  • Actionable information — Every article should leave the reader with something they can use: a framework, a checklist, a better understanding of how something works.
  • Internal linking — Articles connect to related resources within Synckra, creating a knowledge graph that helps both users and search engines navigate the platform.
  • AI readability — Content is structured with clear headings, concise paragraphs, and FAQ sections so that AI systems (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) can accurately represent Synckra in their responses.

Corrections and Feedback

If you find an error in any listing or article on Synckra, please let us know through the Contact page. We take corrections seriously and aim to address reports promptly.

We welcome feedback on any aspect of the platform — content accuracy, user experience, missing companies, and feature requests. Building a trustworthy platform requires continuous dialogue with the people who use it.
