How Synckra Works
A transparent look at the technology, automation, and principles behind Synckra's career discovery platform.
Why Traditional Job Searching Wastes Time
Finding legitimate entry-level opportunities in tech is harder than it should be. Students and graduates spend hours sifting through job boards filled with outdated listings, duplicate postings, and third-party aggregators that redirect to more aggregators.
Many platforms require you to create accounts, upload resumes, and share personal information before you can even see a job description. Others mix genuine opportunities with sponsored placements, making it impossible to distinguish real jobs from paid advertisements.
Synckra was built to solve this. We believe candidates deserve a direct path from discovery to application — with no middlemen, no data harvesting, and no ambiguity about where their application actually goes.
How Our Automation Discovers Jobs
Synckra's infrastructure is built around an automation engine that continuously monitors official company career pages.
How Jobs Are Verified
Every listing on Synckra originates from a company's official career page or Application Tracking System (ATS). We do not accept job postings from recruiters, staffing agencies, or anonymous submitters.
- The job listing exists on the company's official website.
- The application URL points directly to the company's own portal.
- Key details (title, location, type) are accurately extracted.
- Expired or filled positions are detected and marked appropriately.
This approach eliminates the "ghost jobs" problem that plagues many traditional job boards — listings that appear active but lead nowhere.
Why Every Apply Button Goes to the Official Company Website
Synckra operates on a fundamental principle: candidates should always apply directly on the company's official platform. When you click "Apply" on any listing, you are immediately redirected to the hiring company's own careers portal.

Why Synckra Does Not Collect Resumes
Many job platforms require users to upload resumes before they can browse or apply for positions. Synckra does not.
We believe your personal documents should only go to the company you are applying to — not to intermediaries. Since every application happens on the company's own platform, there is no need for Synckra to collect, store, or process resumes.
This also means there is no profile to create, no account to manage, and no personal data at risk. You browse opportunities freely and apply directly when you find something relevant.
How Expired Jobs Are Managed
When a company closes a position, Synckra does not delete the listing. Instead, the job transitions to an expired state:
- The job description remains accessible for reference, interview preparation, and salary research.
- The Apply button is replaced with a notice explaining that applications are no longer being accepted.
- The page continues to display related active opportunities to help candidates discover similar roles.
- The URL remains stable and indexed, preserving its value for search engines and users.
Candidates searching for information about specific roles, companies, or skill requirements can still benefit from expired listings.

The Vision
Synckra is building the infrastructure for transparent career discovery. Our long-term goal is to become the most trusted source of verified career opportunities for early-career professionals — not by accumulating user data, but by providing genuinely useful, accurate, and accessible information.
Every engineering decision we make is guided by a simple question: does this help the candidate? If the answer is yes, we build it. If the answer is no, we skip it.
