🔒 Our Data Commitment

Synckra is designed with minimal data collection in mind:

We do not collect resumes, CVs, or personal documents from candidates.
We do not require user registration or login to browse or apply for jobs.
All applications go directly to the company's official careers page — we never act as an intermediary.
We use only basic analytics (page views, session data) to improve the platform experience.
If you've interacted with us via Instagram or Facebook, we may have limited data linked to your social account.

What Data We May Have

Depending on how you've interacted with Synckra, we may hold the following types of data:

Anonymous analytics data (pages viewed, session duration, device type)
IP-based approximate location (country/region level only)
Browser and device information for performance optimisation
Cookie preferences and consent records

How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data through any of the following methods:

Email Us Directly

Send a data deletion request to privacy@synckra.in with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include:

Your full name (as associated with the data)
Email address or social media handle linked to the data
A brief description of what data you'd like deleted

Use Our Contact Form

Visit our Contact page and submit a data deletion request through the form. Select "Privacy & Data" as the category and describe your request.

Facebook / Instagram Data Deletion

If you logged in or interacted with Synckra through Facebook or Instagram, you can also:

Go to your Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
Find Synckra in your connected apps
Click "Remove" to revoke access and request data deletion
Alternatively, send us a message on our official Instagram page

What Happens After Your Request

Here's what to expect once you submit a data deletion request:

Acknowledgement

We will acknowledge your request within 24 hours of receipt via the contact method you used.

Verification

We may ask you to verify your identity to ensure the request is legitimate. This protects your data from unauthorized deletion.

Deletion

Your data will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days of verification. This includes all backups and archives.

Confirmation

You will receive a final confirmation once the deletion is complete. We will not retain any of your personal data after this point.

Exceptions & Legal Requirements

In certain limited circumstances, we may retain some data even after a deletion request:

Legal obligations: Where we are required by law to retain certain records (e.g., tax, compliance, or fraud prevention requirements).
Legitimate interests: To protect our rights, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements, but only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Aggregated/anonymized data: Data that has been fully anonymized and cannot be linked back to you may be retained for statistical purposes.

We will always inform you if any exceptions apply to your specific request and explain the legal basis for retention.

Your Privacy Rights

In addition to data deletion, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right to access: Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
Right to rectification: Ask us to correct any inaccurate data.
