About the Role

As an SW Intern, you will be assisting SW Developers/Testers/Leads in:

• Designing, developing, testing, verification and documentation of embedded software in compliance with AUTOSAR architecture, ASPICE, Functional Safety and Cybersecurity for various BorgWarner Electrification Products (Inverters, Converters, Controllers, Integrated Drive Modules, etc.).
• Working on automation, initiatives, proof-of-concepts (POC), and advanced projects focused on efficiency/quality improvement or capability enhancement as per automotive industry standards to meet business needs.

Requirements

Educational Qualifications

• Pursuing ME/ MTech in Electronics & Communications/Electrical & Electronics/Embedded Systems/Digital Communication/Power Electronics/Instrumentation/Artificial Intelligence.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge and experience in programming using C and Python/any other scripting language.
• Good knowledge of SW architecture, preferably AUTOSAR.
• Good knowledge on multicore microcontrollers and Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC).
• Good knowledge of Automotive communication protocols like CAN FD, LIN, Flexray, Ethernet, etc.
• Good knowledge in Software Testing, Verification concepts, tools used, and setup.
• Good knowledge with Artificial Intelligence (AI) with an understanding of the latest AI technologies, models, writing prompts, and industry trends.
• Basic understanding of applying AI to automate and improve software development, testing, documentation, and engineering productivity.
• Preferably candidates interested in pursuing projects based on Microcontrollers or AI/ML on Electronics/Software processes or AUTOSAR SW architecture or Testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and learning aptitude with a passion for exploring emerging AI technologies and their practical applications.
• Self-motivated with a strong and flexible attitude towards learning and achieving project commitments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to document work.
• Solution-oriented mindset and high appetite to learn something new.
• Proven ability to work well as part of a team and with minimal supervision.
