About the Role
SGS is seeking new collaborators to train and tutor in non-destructive testing (CND) professions within the aeronautical and aerospace sectors. We offer a permanent contract (CDI) that includes a qualifying and certifying training program, as well as a dedicated tutoring period. This role is designed to provide diverse missions and continuous skill development throughout your career.
Your Missions
As part of our Industries & Environment Business Unit, you will be attached to our SGS AERONAUTICS subsidiary based in Sorinières (44). You will join a multidisciplinary team of specialists in non-destructive testing methods for the aeronautical, aerospace, and defense domains.
- You will undergo a comprehensive training period focused on various CND methods.
- You will complete tutoring periods to apply theoretical knowledge, ensuring success in COFREND FrANDTB examinations for your chosen specialty method(s).
- Once certified, you will operate on client sites, including industrial manufacturing, assembly, or maintenance facilities within the aeronautical and/or aerospace sectors across France, and occasionally abroad. Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing and interpreting non-destructive tests.
- Monitoring quality and reporting non-conformities in adherence to current standards and specifications.
- Drafting official inspection reports (procès-verbaux).
- Ensuring the quality follow-up of all related documentation.
We work with innovative systems and a broad spectrum of materials (e.g., titanium, stainless steel, Inconel, composites) and inspection configurations (ranging from semi-automated on-site to automated in-workshop).
Note: Some interventions on client sites are subject to security investigations and access clearances.
This role requires significant geographical mobility, a valid B driver's license, and personal vehicle ownership.
