About the Role
This role is for a Software Engineering Intern. It is open to final-year students and 2026 graduates. The internship duration is 6 months, with a potential full-time offer for strong performers.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship backend services and APIs in Python or Go
- Write queries and schemas for portfolio, transaction, and market data
- Work on integrations — custodians, RTAs, exchanges, KYC and payment providers
- Write tests and debug production issues alongside senior engineers
- Take a feature from spec to shipped, with real review and real feedback
Requirements
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, OOP, and databases
- Hands-on experience with Python or Go (college projects, internships or open source contributions are valued for the intern role)
- Comfort with SQL, Git, and REST APIs
- Curiosity about how markets and money actually work
- Someone who asks why the number is wrong, not just where the bug is
Nice to Have
- Any exposure to fintech, broking, or capital markets
- Experience with AWS, Docker, or message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
