About the Internship

As part of a global Digital Technology & Data team, you will gain hands-on experience in real business situations across Cargill’s diverse businesses.

Your Work / Responsibilities

• Apply and build engineering skills in areas such as cloud platforms, big data platforms, and application development.
• Receive quality supervision and mentorship with ongoing job performance evaluation.
• Apply your skills and gain an understanding of the Cargill organization.
• Learn about Cargill’s diverse businesses through orientation, experiential learning activities, and volunteer events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Internship Details & Benefits

• Program Dates: January 4, 2027 through the last week of June 2027 (5-6 months).
• Stipend: Interns are paid a monthly stipend.
• Work Timings: 12 noon - 9 pm.
• Transportation: Provided to and from work within Bangalore's serviceable limits (pick up and drop address must be the same).
• Full-Time Opportunity: Outstanding performers may be offered a full-time Associate Software Engineer position.

Eligibility & Qualifications

Eligibility

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, AI, ML, Cybersecurity, Computing, or other Information Technology related disciplines).
• Graduating with a degree in June 2027.
• Must provide institutional approval to complete a 5-6-month internship from early January 2027 through end June 2027.
• Geographically flexible and willing to work onsite multiple days a week at our Bengaluru Capability center.
• Knowledge of basic structured programming, systems analysis and design, database design, and business concepts.
• High degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work with limited guidance.
• Proven ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a software engineer intern.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Experience with commercial product software development.
• Demonstrated analytical and technical skills.
• Ability to relate technical knowledge to job-related duties.
