Product Engineer

About the Role

As a Product Engineer at Rox, you will be instrumental in building the next generation of AI-native interfaces that power the world's leading revenue teams. This role encompasses the full product development lifecycle, from user engagement and solution prototyping to shipping fast, reliable features in production.

You will collaborate closely with design, infrastructure, and applied AI teams to develop seamless multi-agent workflows, upholding a high standard for user experience and interface quality. This is a high-ownership position requiring swift action, attention to detail, and thoughtful trade-offs between speed, quality, and value.

Responsibilities

• High Ownership: Independently design and implement scalable systems end-to-end, define/understand requirements, and write clean code.
• Customers First: Engage closely with customers to understand requests, join customer calls, and ship solutions in collaboration with product and AI engineers.
• Operations: Maintain an obsession with operations, striving to ensure minimal to no downtime or impact on customers.
• Bias for Action: Work and ship effectively in a fast-paced environment with weekly deliverables; possess founder-energy to operate with minimal direction.
• Be Curious: Exhibit curiosity to learn, work hard, and maintain a growth mindset.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field; 1+ years of professional experience is a plus.
• Strong product sense and engineering ability – demonstrated by shipping thoughtful, polished features end-to-end.
• Experience with Next.js and Typescript.
• Proficiency in Python and the ability to work across the stack is preferable (e.g., Flask, AWS); back-end experience is not strictly required.
• A bias for action: move fast, learn quickly, and default to shipping.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with minimal direction.
• Curiosity about AI, agentic interfaces, and how to make them intuitive and useful.
• Be located in or willing to relocate to Bangalore.
