About the Role
As an Independent Technical Leader, you will deliver complex software capabilities while contributing to architecture and mentoring peers within Qualitrol's Enterprise Analytics Services organization. This team develops AI-native, cloud-agnostic enterprise software that powers advanced analytics for critical electrical infrastructure. Engineers follow a Specification-Driven Agentic SDLC, collaborating with AI throughout architecture, implementation, testing, documentation, and validation while retaining full engineering accountability. Your mission is to own the delivery of complex analytics services from specification through production deployment.
Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of major epics.
- Author engineering specifications.
- Design resilient distributed services.
- Drive software quality, testing, and production readiness.
- Mentor Product Engineers.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building enterprise software.
- Proficiency in cloud-native development, APIs, and event-driven systems.
- Experience with plugins, testing automation, and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering workflows.
- Ability to work within Agile Scrum teams using SAFe 6.0 principles, collaborating daily with Product Owners, Product Architects, Quality Assurance, fellow engineers, and AI agents to deliver secure, observable, cloud-agnostic enterprise software.
