Software Engineer

About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer. In this role, you will participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts. You will identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements and design, code, test, debug, and document for low to moderately complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Develop AI Agents using Google ADK/Langchain
• Implement production grade agents
• Build robust APIs and workflows
• Implement workflow and task-based processing
• Collaborate with product, operation and architecture teams
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies
• Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges, presenting recommendations for resolving issues or escalating as needed.
• Exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirements.
• Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Python-based backend platforms
• Strong experience in Google ADK/Langchain
• Strong experience in Agentic environments
• Strong MongoDB or any NOSQL experience
• Strong Experience in MCP (specific platform/tool)
• Experience in Kafka/Queues, Workflows
• Exposure to Banking domain (KYC, Onboarding, Banking)
• Basic understanding of cloud-native concepts.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile
• Ability to estimate work
• Experience participating in sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives
