About the Role
During your internship, you will design and implement a prototype for an autonomous AI agent that automates the creation of Bills of Materials (BOMs). You will continuously develop and optimize a robust framework (Agent Harness) to control the agent's behavior. Furthermore, you will independently develop and integrate tools for the agent, such as MCP servers. You will create interfaces to seamlessly connect the agent with our product catalog and parsers. Additionally, you will conceive and implement advanced evaluation methods to assess the performance of autonomous agents. Finally, you will establish methods for collecting relevant performance metrics for the agent.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: Studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience & Knowledge: Profound knowledge in Python; practical experience with modern LLM frameworks (e.g., Microsoft Agent Framework) is an advantage.
- Personality & Working Style: You are able to analyze complex challenges with analytical thinking and develop innovative solutions – especially regarding architectural topics or the validation of AI systems.
- Work Model: Office presence required.
- Languages: Fluent German and English.
