Laboratory Intern (Chemistry)

Job Responsibilities

• Assist Chemist or Laboratory Supervisor in carrying out laboratory experiments to set-up new methodology as driven by business need or improve current methodology as driven by operational need.
• Review, enhance, and update working instructions/Standard Operating Procedure and standard method comparison under supervision of Chemist when needed.
• Adhere to group HSE safety procedures.
• Ensure that information from clients is kept strictly confidential and never revealed to third parties.
• Ensure all controlled quality procedures, test methods, and documents are kept confidentially and restricted within SGS premise.
• Ensure Good Housekeeping and Good Laboratory Practice in the laboratory.
• Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by their superior.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biology or a related field from a recognized university/college.
• Good personality, independent, and a good team player.
