Junior Developer

About the Role

As a Junior Developer, you will be involved in understanding, developing, testing, debugging, and supporting projects based on business needs. This role requires contributing to problem-solving and troubleshooting software in both production and non-production environments. You will be expected to participate in an on-call rotation, providing 24-hour support, including after-hours, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed. This position offers an opportunity to learn and grow in design, architecture, complex problem-solving, and programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, debug, and support solutions according to business needs and project definitions.
• Document automation processes and technical solutions clearly.
• Contribute to problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging software in production and non-production environments.
• Participate in the Developer On-Call rotation for 24-hour support.
• Provide after-hours, weekend, and holiday production support when called upon.
• Continuously learn and develop design, architecture, complex problem-solving, and programming skills.
• Manage time effectively to deliver work within agreed timescales.
• Work on multiple priorities and projects, seeking guidance when necessary.
• Collaborate with senior specialists and management to provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Proactively inform managers and superiors about work status, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree.
• Basic understanding of any programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C, C++, C#, .NET, VB).
• Basic understanding of any tools (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate, Power BI, MongoDB, Tableau, Snowflake, Playwright, Selenium, Postman).
