About the Role
We are looking for a Product Analyst-Intern to join our growing product team at ShareChat. This role is for individuals passionate about building consumer products that impact millions of users, adept at making data work for them, and aspiring to own a product in the near future. Responsibilities
- Querying the Database: Utilize SQL to run queries on ShareChat's analytical engine built on Redshift.
- Scripting: Develop scalable scripts to fetch or modify data from API endpoints.
- Analytical Skills: Work with large datasets related to user behavior on ShareChat, analyzing data to derive conclusions.
- Critical Thinking: Identify trends and patterns in data to formulate new conclusions based on findings.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure vigilance and precision in data analysis to arrive at accurate conclusions.
Requirements
- BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics is preferred.
- Prior working experience as an analytics Intern is a plus.
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (e.g., Business Objects), databases (e.g., SQL), and programming (e.g., XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks).
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SAS).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
