About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and driven Software Engineer Intern to join our development team. You will get hands-on experience working on real-world projects using modern web technologies and frameworks. This internship is ideal for candidates eager to deepen their technical skills, contribute to live products, and grow in a collaborative environment.
Internship Duration: 6 months
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using PHP and the Symfony framework.
- Implement and manage API integrations with third-party services.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery.
- Work with version control systems like Git and repositories such as Bitbucket.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across the full web stack.
- Follow coding best practices and contribute to team code reviews.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Requirements
- Completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Previous internship or project experience in web development is a plus.
- Good understanding of PHP and experience with the Symfony framework.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
- Hands-on experience with API integration.
- Working knowledge of AJAX, HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Understanding of client-server architecture and RESTful services.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
- Familiarity with Composer (PHP dependency manager).
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Understanding of testing frameworks or writing unit tests.
