About the Role
As a data analyst intern, you will be an integral part of an organisation’s data team, responsible for analysing and interpreting various datasets to derive meaningful insights and support data-driven decision-making. The role provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, visualisation, and reporting, contributing to the success of the team.
Responsibilities
- Build and optimize data models for analytics and reporting, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business teams to translate requirements into engineering solutions and prepare datasets for BI tools (Power BI).
- Perform basic data validation and analysis to ensure data accuracy and usability for dashboards.
- Assist in collecting and cleaning large datasets from various sources.
- Support in the analysis and interpretation of data to identify trends and patterns.
- Create visualizations and dashboards to present data insights.
- Collaborate with team members to define data needs and requirements.
- Document data analysis processes and methodologies.
- Participate in meetings and provide data-driven insights to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, AI/ML.
- 70% or 7 CGPA aggregate in the current degree.
- No active backlogs at the time of application.
- Willing to work in GE HealthCare premises during the internship.
- Willing to work on any projects as assigned based on fitment and business need.
- Basic knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
- Coding in programming languages (one or more of Python, R, etc.) and familiarity with analytic packages.
- Experience with applying Machine Learning on time-series data is a plus.
- Be a good team player and uphold integrity.
- Open to be mentored, seek feedback.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working within a globally diverse team across different time zones.
