Graduate Trainee Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for individuals keen to learn about engineering practices and quickly adapt to our environment. You will be expected to:

• Learn quickly on industry ways of working, understanding project documentation and domain knowledge.
• Showcase incremental improvements in your learning and development through self-documentation or related visualization techniques.
• Work 3 days a week in the office and 2 days remotely, complying with team cadences.
• Exhibit excellent soft skills throughout your tenure.

Responsibilities

You will be working within fully functional agile teams. During the training window, you will be assigned mentors/trainers who will incrementally assess your capabilities. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing a solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and strengthening a specific skill set during the training period.
• Building the ability to work effectively as a team player.
• Demonstrating a willingness to broaden your knowledge by learning new skills, tools, and approaches.
• Being prepared to showcase your skills and learnings during the training window in the form of interviews.

Requirements

• A minimum of BE or equivalent Under Graduation completion without any standing arrears.
• Basic knowledge of any Programming language and Data structures.
• Excellent written and Oral communication skills.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Understanding of SDLC and how software works.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Good observation skills and a willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Experience working in or developing a software application.
• Any participation in Hackathons and ability to demonstrate the experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of the difference between frontend, middleware, and data layers of a software architecture.
• Preference will be given to candidates with certifications in Data Engineering, Analytical Implementation Engineering, Salesforce Development, QA Automation, DevOps, Java Programming or Data Science.
