About the Role
We're looking for Backend Engineers who enjoy solving real-world problems through technology. As an Engineer, you'll build and scale the systems that power ordering, kitchen operations, delivery orchestration, inventory, and customer experiences.
You'll work closely with experienced engineers to design, build, and deploy services that directly impact business outcomes and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and business-critical systems
- Design scalable and reliable solutions for high-traffic applications
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Debug production issues and improve system performance and reliability
- Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to deliver impactful features
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
Requirements
- 1โ3 years of software engineering experience
- Strong programming skills in at least one backend language such as Java, Kotlin, Go, Python, or Node.js
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals
- Experience working with REST APIs, databases, and version control systems such as Git
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
- Ability to take ownership and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or other cloud platforms
- Exposure to message queues, caching systems, or distributed systems
