About the Role
In this role, the Software Test Engineer will be responsible for testing Software Functions/Algorithms and also helping the team to develop the required automation framework to run tests automatically.
This opportunity will be in a fast-paced start-up-like environment within a Fortune 500 Organization.
Responsibilities
- Will be responsible for feature code development, bug fix code implementation, and integration.
- Will be part of multi-cultural, multi-disciplined product development and testing teams working on projects involving multiple locations (local as well as international).
- Work with Embedded Hardware and validate the software function.
- Debugging embedded software on target using test bench/In-circuit emulator/Lauterbach tool.
Requirements
Essential Skills
- Good knowledge of C language, Embedded C coding.
- Good understanding of Embedded controller concepts.
- Knowledge of Electronic circuits, Microcontroller, ASIC, Interrupts concepts.
- Strong interpersonal skills and high intercultural social competence.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with the team.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Keen interest in design, testing of Software for Embedded systems.
- Knowledge/skills on using MATLAB/Simulink.
Desirable Skills
- Good conceptual understanding of the university syllabus topics and good functional explanation of the same.
