Generative AI Engineer Intern

About the Role

The Central AI Team builds agentic AI systems that automate and optimize internal team operations at PW, working closely with the business (biz) team. As an AI Engineer Intern, you'll build and ship these systems end-to-end — from prototype to a working tool a biz team actually uses.

Duration: 6 months (training period) Work mode: Hybrid — 4 days WFO, 2 days WFH

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents and automated workflows for internal ops use cases.
• Integrate LLM APIs (Claude) with internal tools and data sources.
• Build no-code/low-code automations (n8n) alongside custom Python where needed.
• Test, debug, and iterate on agents based on biz-team feedback.
• Document workflows and track impact (time/cost saved) per use case.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Python and REST/API integrations.
• Familiarity with LLM/agent APIs (Claude or similar) and prompt engineering.
• Basic SQL and comfort working with structured data.
• Exposure to no-code automation tools (n8n, Zapier) or agent frameworks (LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK) is a plus.
• Curiosity, ownership, and comfort working directly with non-technical stakeholders.
