Gen AI Filmmaker (Intern/Entry-Level)

About the Role

At AVGC Studios, we are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Gen AI Filmmaker Intern / Entry-Level Gen AI Filmmaker passionate about Generative AI, filmmaking, animation, visual storytelling, and emerging creative technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and experiment with AI-powered filmmaking while creating AI-generated films, cinematic visuals, animated content, and engaging stories.

Work Mode: Full-time | Onsite

What We're Looking For

• Generative AI Tools: Basic hands-on knowledge of AI image/video generation tools such as Midjourney, Flux, Higgsfield, Nano Banana Pro, Runway, Kling, Veo, Pika, Stable Diffusion, or similar.
• Prompt Engineering: Understanding of prompts for creating characters, environments, scenes, cinematic visuals, and maintaining visual consistency.
• Storytelling: Ability to think creatively, develop simple story ideas, characters, narratives, and visual concepts.
• AI Video Creation: Interest or basic experience in creating AI-generated videos, short films, reels, micro-dramas, or cinematic content.
• Animation & Visual Development: Basic understanding of animation principles, composition, camera movements, scene continuity, and visual storytelling.
• Filmmaking Fundamentals: Basic understanding of camera angles, shot composition, lighting, cinematography, pacing, and editing.

What You'll Work On

• Assist in creating AI-generated short films, reels, micro-dramas, and cinematic content.
• Develop characters, environments, scenes, and visual concepts using Generative AI.
• Experiment with hyper-realistic, stylized, and animated AI visuals.
• Learn and work on maintaining character and visual consistency across multiple scenes.
• Explore different AI tools and workflows for image and video generation.
• Convert creative ideas and story concepts into AI-generated visual content.
• Assist with storyboarding, shot planning, editing, and post-production.
• Stay updated with emerging Generative AI tools and filmmaking techniques.

Good to Have

• Educational background or interest in Film, Animation, VFX, Gaming, Comics, Design, or Digital Media.
• Basic knowledge of video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar.
• Understanding of storyboarding and shot planning.
• Interest in 3D animation or AI-based animation workflows.
• Experience creating AI-generated images, videos, reels, or short films.
• A creative portfolio, personal projects, college projects, or AI experiments.
• Strong curiosity and willingness to learn, experiment, and explore new AI technologies.
