At Bosch, an Industrialization SW Engineer acts as the critical bridge between software development and high-volume series production. Their primary directive is to design, implement, automate and optimize highly stable, efficient, and scalable software by developing custom scripts, and engineering robust software solutions. You will directly transform innovative concepts into production ready software that powers our global manufacturing floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and propose implementation solutions.
- Write scripts to automate production processes, testing processes or diagnosis.
- Develop software tools for recovering parts for production, check quality or for processes optimization.
- Alignment with different project teams.
- Participate in global meetings to define work packages and give project status.
- Estimate and plan engineering activities.
- Project and self management skills.
Mandatory Skills
- Bachelorβs degree or superior in Computer Science / Electronics & Communication.
- 1-3 years experience
- Clarify and agreement creation with different local and global teams.
- Build SW tools.
- Proficient C programming language.
- Practical experience working with embedded SW.
- Proficient Python programming skills.
- CAN Network and Diagnostics.
- Generative AI and Prompt Engineering proficiency.
- Practical experience in the usage of AI Generative tools to build GUIs or build fast SW tools.
- Strong logical and analytical problem solving skills.
Desirable Skills
- C++ programming language.
- Practical experience working with Vector tools (CANoe, CANape, CANalyzer, etc).
- Diagnostics and system validation.
- Communications protocols (LIN, Ethernet, Flexray).
- UDS.
- Clusters Domain knowledge.
