Software Engineer

About the Role

As a Software Engineer at Cyient, you will work under general supervision to develop, code, test, and debug new software or enhance existing applications for our customers. This role requires a strong understanding of business applications and the ability to collaborate with technical staff to resolve software problems and respond to customer feedback.

Responsibilities

• Develop, code, test, and debug new software or enhancements to existing software solutions.
• Work with technical staff to understand and resolve software-related problems.
• Address customer complaints and suggestions for improvements or enhancements.
• Assist in the development of software user manuals.
• Demonstrate software functionalities to stakeholders.
• Independently analyze, design, and implement complex modules.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of development experience.
• Good development experience in .NET and C#.
• Proficient in Blazor application development.
• Experience working with MySQL.
• Good knowledge of MVC, Design patterns, and database design.
• Experience in Oracle databases and Oracle Forms/APEX is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle Database migration is a plus.
• Good experience in Web Services and RESTful Microservices.
• Proficiency with Windows Operating System.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.
