About the Role

Philips is seeking a Software Developer Engineering Intern to join our team in Bangalore. Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, and testing of software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality code.
• Assist in debugging and resolving software defects and issues.
• Learn and apply new technologies and development methodologies relevant to healthcare.
• Document technical specifications, project progress, and system functionalities.
• Engage with various stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma plus active student status/enrollment at a University, College, or Vocational Education institution.
• Experience: No prior experience required; open to freshers and students.
• Skills: Foundational understanding of data structures and algorithms, proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++), and a strong interest in software development.
• Attributes: Eagerness to learn, strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.

How We Work Together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. This role is an office-based position, requiring full-time presence in the company’s facilities in Bangalore.
