SDE 1 - Frontend
📄 Job Description
About SiftHub
SiftHub is an Agentic Platform for Deal Orchestration. We deploy agents to automate sales collateral, deal briefs, RFPs, and post-meeting follow-ups; unblocking deals for sales and solutions teams.
SiftHub collates and sifts through your ecosystem (Drive, Gong, CRM, Slack, and more) to identify and convert real-time deal signals into tailored content and ready-to-execute actions. Designed to replicate how top-performing reps execute deals. Trusted by revenue teams at Saviynt, Everlaw, Allego, Superhuman, Sirion and more.
Why This Role Exists
SiftHub reaches users across multiple surfaces: a web app, a Chrome extension that surfaces AI intelligence mid-call and mid-workflow, a Microsoft add-in for Office users, and a Chrome extension for Google Sheets. The frontend experience is the product. We need an engineer who can own it across all of these: architecture, performance, and the bar enterprise users will hold us to.
Responsibilities
- Own the SiftHub Chrome extension, Microsoft add-in, and React/TypeScript web application layer — architecture, performance, reliability, and cross-surface compatibility (including Chrome extension APIs, Office add-in constraints, Google Sheets integration, and web app parity)
- Develop component systems and design token infrastructure that the team builds on
- Manage frontend performance: load times, rendering, memory, and extension lifecycle
- Collaborate with NLP and Backend engineers to integrate AI outputs into clean, responsive UIs
- Maintain the code quality bar: reviews, patterns, and technical standards for the frontend team
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 1-3 years of production experience with React and TypeScript
- Strong understanding of modern frontend stack including React, TypeScript, Redux or Flux, Webpack, and testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Enzyme, or React Testing Library
- Experience building for platforms beyond web apps such as browser extensions, Office add-ins, or spreadsheet integrations. You understand platform constraints, lifecycle, and edge cases across Chrome Extension APIs, Office.js, Google Sheets API, and service workers
- Strong opinion on component design and state management, with the ability to reason about trade-offs and not just implement
- Experience with performance profiling and optimization in production environments
- Writes tests as a core part of development, not as an afterthought
- Strong grasp of UI principles with the ability to build clean, accessible, and maintainable interfaces, and clearly articulate design decisions
Good to Have
- Experience with content scripts, background workers, and extension messaging patterns
- Experience working with AWS and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
- Experience at a B2B SaaS company with an understanding of enterprise UI expectations
- Exposure to AI or LLM-powered product surfaces
Who You Are
- You care about the last 5%, the micro-interactions, edge cases, and polish that separate good from great
- You push back on UX decisions when something does not feel right, and you have the design intuition to back it up
- You are energised by the ambiguity of early-stage product and can build a path when there is not one
- You take ownership end to end, from design review to production monitoring
- You communicate clearly across disciplines and can work effectively with designers, PMs, and backend engineers
What We Offer
- Work on genuinely hard AI problems, not CRUD apps
- Direct access to founders
- Access to best-in-class dev tools and AI assistants to help you do your best work
- Health insurance
- In-office in Mumbai, we value building together in person
