About the Role

We are seeking a motivated MERN Stack Development Intern to join our team. This is a full-time, in-office internship lasting 3 months, with the potential for conversion to a full-time role based on performance. You will be instrumental in building high-quality, innovative web applications using the MERN stack.

Responsibilities

• Work on building high-quality, innovative, and fully performing web applications in compliance with coding standards and technical design.
• Utilize your knowledge of the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js), and leverage your expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and NoSQL data stores to enhance our products.
• Develop high-quality software design and architecture based on the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js).
• Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
• Build and enhance web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and NoSQL data stores.
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products.
• Document development phases and monitor systems.
• Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies.
• Participate in our agile development processes and our continuous integration framework.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong understanding of and practical experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Proven experience as a web developer, with a demonstrable portfolio of projects.
• Knowledge of coding languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and experience with NoSQL data stores.
• Solid knowledge of software design principles, with an emphasis on object-oriented design.
• Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in an agile development and continuous integration environment.
• Consistent academic performance, deep knowledge, an interest in building software, and strong programming abilities.
• A relevant degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
