Job Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and samplings, according to the Inspection Order, procedures, operational instructions, and SGS instructions, under the supervision of the person in charge.
- Keep the Lead Inspector, Coordinator, or Project Leader informed about the inspection's progress.
- Participate in service opening and closing meetings.
- Prepare inspection-specific documents, if applicable.
- Inform the Lead Inspector, Operations Coordinator, or Project Leader about non-conformities during the inspection, in order to apply appropriate corrective measures.
- Comply with the submission of operational and/or travel expense reports, as well as service deliverables, information synchronization, and other agreements made in the opening and closing meeting, according to the agreed-upon days.
- Report monitoring equipment and vehicles that show maintenance observations, calibrations, assigned to an inspection order, and ensure that all resources assigned to the service return in good condition.
- Participate in 5-Minute Talks.
- Fill out the Preliminary Risk Analysis (APR) form before starting work.
- Generate a report of substandard acts and/or conditions in Intelex monthly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Technical degree in Environmental, Chemistry, Fishery, Biology, or related fields.
- Minimum of 12 months of experience in performing environmental monitoring (preferably).
- Availability to work rotating shifts.
- Availability to travel.
- Ability to drive and possess a type A1 driving license (at least 3 years old) or A2b (at least 2 years old).
- Basic knowledge of Office Suite.
