Go Backend Intern

About the Role

Location: On-site, Gurgaon Duration & Stipend: 6 months, ₹30,000 per month

We’re looking for a Golang Backend Intern to help build the core backend of Osto’s security platform. You’ll work closely with engineers and founders, learn how modern backend systems are designed, and contribute to real product features from day one.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining backend services in Go.
• Work on APIs, data models, and internal tooling for security workflows.
• Support testing, debugging, and basic deployment tasks.
• Collaborate with the team to understand product requirements and translate them into working code.
• Learn how to design scalable, reliable backend systems in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Participate in code reviews and improve your understanding of clean code, architecture, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Strong programming fundamentals and good problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on exposure to Go & Gin/GORM.
• Basic understanding of backend development, APIs, databases, and version control.
• Curiosity to learn how security products and infrastructure systems work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to ask clear questions.
• Bonus: exposure to Linux, cloud platforms, distributed systems, or cybersecurity concepts.
