About the Role
We are hiring a Full Stack Engineer Intern to work with our engineering team on the web dashboard, backend APIs, and integrations that power the Pollax product.
Internship Details
- Type: Internship (on-site)
- Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India. No remote option.
- Duration: 6 months
- Compensation: Paid โ monthly stipend of โน15,000
- Start date: Immediate
- Conversion: Performance-based opportunity to convert to a full-time role
Responsibilities
- Build and ship features across the web dashboard (React) and backend APIs (Node.js)
- Implement REST APIs and integrate them with database and authentication layers
- Work on the user-facing dashboard: agent creation flows, voice testing, text-to-speech UI
- Integrate ML model endpoints (TTS, STT, LLM) into product flows
- Write clean, tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
- Debug production issues across the stack and contribute to performance improvements
- Collaborate with the ML and design teams to deliver end-to-end features
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a BE / BTech in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Proficient in JavaScript and at least one modern frontend framework (React preferred)
- Working knowledge of Node.js and REST API design
- Familiarity with relational or document databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar)
- Experience with Git and standard version-control workflows
- Practical project experience through coursework, personal projects, or prior internships
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with React + Vite, Tailwind CSS, or component libraries
- Familiarity with Express.js, authentication patterns (JWT, OAuth), and middleware
- Exposure to WebSockets, real-time data, or audio/voice APIs
- Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Familiarity with Docker and basic CI/CD workflows
- Experience integrating third-party APIs (LLM providers, payment, telephony)
