About the Role
SLB is looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join their Digital Technology & Research team in Coimbatore, India. This role involves developing on the SAP platform, collaborating with development leads and functional analysts, and ensuring adherence to development standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on developments on the SAP platform, collaborating with development leads and functional analysts.
- Understand Schlumberger business requirements for development.
- Understand and leverage Schlumberger's development standards and framework.
- Write technical specifications and review them with Technical Architects.
- Perform respective software development for new features or enhancements.
- Perform technical and functional tests.
- Deploy code in Test, Quality, and Production environments.
- Follow technical governance (standards, best practices, etc.).
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering OR
- MBA in Operations/Supply Chain OR
- Bachelor’s in Computers / Engineering with a master’s in Operations/Supply Chain
- Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
Key Competencies in Functional Area
- Experience in Supply chain/Operations in the industry.
- Experience in implementing business applications in a functional role is desirable but not necessary.
Other Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work in a global distributed setting without supervision.
- Self-driven, Proactive, Systems Thinking.
