AI/ML Intern

About the Role

Assist in the design, development, and deployment of AI solutions utilising machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and deployment of AI solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate AI solutions into existing products and services
• Support data collection, processing, and automation tasks to enhance and refine AI models
• Contribute to the testing, debugging, and optimisation of AI solutions
• Stay abreast of the latest trends in AI and machine learning

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related technical field
• Basic proficiency in Python, with familiarity in AI/ML frameworks
• Knowledge of Fast API and an understanding of how to integrate APIs with other platforms
• Familiarity with Fast API architecture, database management (MySQL, Chrome DB/Pinecone), and automation tools
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques
• A creative mindset focused on solving technical challenges
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
• Exposure to working with LLMs, VLMs, or related techniques
• Basic understanding of transformer models and how they are applied in LLMs and VLMs
